Construction

Is there a street in Boulder that is not under construction right now? I don't understand it. Julius Caesar can build a bridge across the Rhine River in ten days. Yet, in spite of all our fancy equipment and expensive machinery, it takes us over a year to widen one intersection. And you ask "what have the Romans ever done for us?" You really need to watch Monty Python's Life of Brian to understand the humor behind that. It's the kind of thing that will make a Classicist cry from laughter.
